Who we are
Little Asteroid (“we”, “us”) is the trade name of Danu Litvac, an independent game developer based in Navarra, Spain. Danu Litvac is the data controller for the information described here. Contact: privacy@littleasteroid.com.
What our games collect
Our games have no user accounts. We never ask for your name, email or precise location, and we don’t run our own analytics. Your in-game progress and settings are stored only on your device. Some of our games are free and show ads; the next section explains what that involves. Orbita shows ads from version 1.1.0.
Advertising
In games that show ads, the ads are delivered by third-party advertising partners whose software is included in the game: Unity LevelPlay (ironSource, the service that chooses which ad to show), Unity Ads and Google AdMob. We don’t receive or store this data ourselves; the partners collect it directly from your device as independent controllers or as our processors, under their own policies.
To deliver, limit and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, these partners may collect: your device’s advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iPhone, only if you allow it), your IP address and the approximate location derived from it (country or city), device and network information (model, operating system, language, time zone, connection type), which ads were shown and whether you interacted with them, and technical diagnostics.
Your choices. The first time a game shows ads it asks you to choose between personalized and non-personalized ads, and you can change this at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy & ads. With non-personalized ads, partners are told not to use your data to build an advertising profile; ads are then based on context such as the game and your approximate location. On iPhone, the game also asks for Apple’s tracking permission: if you decline, the IDFA is not available to the partners. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads), and on iPhone you can turn off tracking for all apps (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
Legal basis. Personalized advertising is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time as described above. Showing non-personalized ads, measuring them and preventing fraud is based on our legitimate interest in funding free games.
Partners and transfers. These partners may process data outside your country, including in the United States, using the safeguards described in their policies: Unity (LevelPlay, ironSource and Unity Ads) and Google (AdMob). They keep the data for the periods set out there.
Sharing your score
When you tap Share, the game creates an image of your result on your device and opens your device’s share menu. The image goes only where you choose; nothing is sent to us. On iPhone, if you choose to save the image, iOS may ask for permission to add it to your Photos. Our games never read your photo library.
App store data
Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) handle downloads and any purchases under their own privacy policies. They share with us anonymous, aggregated statistics such as download numbers, and crash reports if you have chosen to share them with developers in your device settings. None of this lets us identify you.
When you email us
If you contact us, we use your email address and message only to reply and help you, and delete them when they’re no longer needed. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your request.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD). California residents have similar rights under the CCPA. Email us and we’ll help.
Children
Our games are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU) and we do not knowingly collect their data. The ads in our games are not directed at children, and our advertising partners are told that our games are not child-directed. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
This website
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Changes
If we update this policy we’ll change the date above. If we add new advertising partners or analytics to a game, we’ll update this policy before that version is released.
